Elleeplex™ Brow Lamination

Eyebrow lamination is a relatively new procedure that focuses on creating shiny, smooth brows. Also sometimes called an “eyebrow perm,” the high-shine effects tend to be sought after by those who may be experiencing thinning or unruly brows. As a semi-permanent procedure, eyebrow lamination may also be a good fit if you want to keep your brows styled a certain way but are tired of using eyebrow gel every day. You will need to repeat the process at some point in the future to maintain your results.

BENEFITS OF TREATMENT

If you’re looking for longer-lasting results to keep your brow hairs in place, you may consider an eyebrow lamination procedure. The perming method used for this treatment may also make your brows look thicker and fuller, characteristics that are becoming increasingly popular.

WHO ARE THESE LASHES MOST SUITED FOR?

Eyebrow lamination may help address a variety of concerns you may have with your own brows, including:
Thinning hair that may occur with age. Gaps in your brows from overplucking or overwaxing in the past. Unruly hairs that tend to go different directions despite brushing them. A lack of shape or unevenness. overall, brow lamination is said to make brows look thicker and fuller. Pulling the hairs up vertically may also make it look like you are experiencing new growth. The entire process is also completely non-invasive.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE

Brow lamination involves the restructuring your eyebrow hairs to provide a fuller, more even look. It can also help keep them in place after washing off any cosmetics you may wear. firstly we cleanse and remove any impurities from the skin. Then we apply a cream to your brows that aims to “lift” up your hairs. Next, your brow hairs are brushed upward to help pull them in a uniform vertical direction and set with a lifting lotion. We will then apply a neutraliser to help seal your brows into place. We will then colour the brows to the desired shade and shape and tidy so that your brows are crisp and clean. The last step is a nourishing oil to help prevent skin irritation and hair dryness that may be caused by the chemicals used during the process. In total, brow lamination takes 1 hour or less to complete. We recommend purchasing a high lash couture brow soap to care for your brows after the treatment.

AFTERCARE

No extreme heat treatments (e.g. very hot baths or showers, saunas, steam rooms), swimming, sunbathing (including sun beds or any other exposure to uv light) for 24 hours. Try and avoid exercise or anything that makes you sweat for 24 hours. Do not apply any perfumed products to the area for 24 hours. Wash your hands before scratching or touching the area. Avoid the use of make-up on the waxed or threaded area for 24 hours apart from mineral make-up or specialist post-treatment products. No self-tanning products to the area for 24 hours. The use of harsh make-up cleansing products could prematurely reduce your brow tint. Avoid the use of such products at all in-between treatments to prolong the colour retention of your tint. Do not pluck or tweeze in-between appointments particularly in areas where your therapist has advised re-growth.
Important note: self-tanning products may alter henna colour, so we recommend using these with caution on your face in between treatments. We recommend that you attend any brow appointments without any self-tanning products on your face. Please inform us immediately if you experience any problems after your treatment, including prolonged swelling, an itchy rash, bruising, or any kind of skin grazing, cuts or tearing so that we can advise the correct treatment. In the unlikely event that your skin does not return to normal within 24 hours of your treatment, seek advice from your gp in case you have had an allergic reaction to the wax or in case an infection is developing.
